Step 1. Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl
3 & 1/3 boxes of old fashioned oats
7/8 tbsp salt
3 & 1/3 lbs shredded coconut
6 & 2/3 lbs chopped nuts (pecans, almonds, cashews, walnuts or mix; I like slivered almonds or chopped pecans)
Step 2. Mix all wet ingredients in separate bowl
1 quart water
1 & ½ quart oil
1 & 1/8 pint honey
4 & 1/8 tbsp vanilla
11 & 2/3 tbsp maple flavoring
Step 3. Pour wet ingredients onto dry ingredients and mix well.
Step 4. Put into baking pans and bake at 200 for 3 ½ hours. Turn every ½ hour for even cooking. If you like clumps in your granola, turn granola with spoon rather than stirring. Stirring breaks up clumps.
If you have a small family and it might take awhile to finish 100 servings, than place extra granola in gallon freezer bags and place in freezer to keep fresh. Enjoy!
